FAQs

Do you take Insurance?

We accept “out-of network” insurance benefits. Use of out-of-network benefits means you pay for sessions and then can get reimbursed by your health insurance provider. Your insurance provider may require you to meet an out-of-network deductible before they will reimburse you for out-of-pocket costs (in whole or in part). Pause will help you navigate this process and provide the necessary treatment paperwork to submit to your insurance to utilize this benefit.

By operating outside an insurance provider’s payment framework Pause Counseling is able to provide more flexibility and independence in your treatment plan, allowing you more control over frequency and duration of appointments to best meet your specific needs.

If you do not wish to utilize out-of-network benefits or private pay options we’d still love to try and work together! Please inquire through Alma to see if your insurance is accepted there, in which case we may still be able to connect.
